Mr. Shamsher Singh is a Nominee Director (representative of State Bank of India) of CCIL since May 2026.
He has over 30 years of experience with State Bank of India in handling and managing various areas of Banking such as Treasury Operations, Retail Banking, Structured Products, and Forex dealing. He currently acts as Dy. Managing Director (Global Markets) at State Bank of India. He has worked in different geographical locations in India and abroad heading various business functions.
He holds a bachelor degree in Commerce. He is also Certified Associate (Indian Institute of Bankers) and is a certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS). He has done Certificate Course in Regulatory Governance from Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
